  Lancer Systems is a well known ERP enterprise software development company in Taipei. Their clients include: Nankang Tyres, Wonderland baby strollers, and many more medium sized enterprises. While strong in programing they did not have any prior knowledge about interface design. In my short stint with them I have helped them created the CIS corporate identity, UI workflow optimization, UI style guideline, and presentation guideline.   Under the handheld BU I've worked on various mobile projects and involved in the ideation to prototyping interactive UI of mobile interfaces. In addition I was responsible for scenario building, storyboarding and presentation delivery on various concept exploration projects which some have led to eventual launched products. I was also the UI coordinator in joint design venture with partners such as Microsoft to design the first windows metro prototype phone and with Garmin to design the first Nuvii phones. I had also led a small team to explore interaction possibilities on mobile UI and eventually created an interaction guideline for developers' reference. In 2008 I worked on the interaction design of the Lamborghini ZX1 phone that has won the iF Communication Award that year. Show less

  I've done design work in products including desktop applications, web based applications, mobile, and tablet applications. I specialize in scenario based concept exploration, getting ideas across to internal management and external clients through scenario presentations and UI mockups. In addition, I'm familiar with UX research methods such as user survey, contextual inquiry, cognitive walkthrough, low-fi prototyping, usability testing, and heuristic evaluation. I also am responsible for UI interaction workflow and UE specification delivery after the concept is a go. I have also been working with the Agile development method and instilling the Lean UX methodology.In terms of leadership, since 2011, I have been transforming the role of UX, taking it from a workflow and graphic production team to a strategy planning and execution team within the organization. Working directly from market research and user feedbacks, I was able to propose, design, and co-work with project managers and developers to successfully deliver the features users want most. I also proposed and led the effort to new GUI design on various products while improving usability on most used features, all in an effort to raise the overall emotional experience in using our products.Since early 2014, I began managing design under the new outsourcing model. Partnering with different designers and engineering firms from different parts of the world, I am required to deliver user scenarios, feature requirements, UI workflow, and GUI guideline for designers and engineers to follow.
