  Started at Ford Credit in Sept 1994 on the call bank in Customer Services, progressing to the Banking department a year later, then on to Daily Rental Operations to expand my operational knowledge and gain experience with the dealer network. I then took a sabbatical for a couple of years, moving to Turkey and having my daughter. I returned to Ford Credit when I moved back to the UK, working initially in the Banking team, where I took on Reconcilliations and then was promoted to the Learning and Development department, taking on the Training role and writing the training manuals for all areas of the business and delivering compliance based training modules. Three years later, I was promoted to Team Leader in the Daily Rental Operations department, responsible for 11 members of staff and all dealer payments and then I was promoted to Zone Manger for Mazda Credit. Moving to a field based role was a fantastic experience, I thrive in a Sales environment and grew the volume in all zones I managed, working in 3 different regions until we were TUPE'd over to Santander Consumer Finance at the end of 2008.   Responsible for overseeing all Santander Consumer Finance PR, liaising with subject matter expert (SME) to draft content for press releases, working with PR companies to structure the content for the right audience, managing the relationships with all suppliers, reviewing contracts, managing deadlines for submissions of editorials/adverts and managing the LinkedIn publications.Delivering conferences (25 to 460 people) and events (5 to 110 people), including all contract negotiations, sourcing venues, logistics, presentation content, team building ideas/activities.
