What i do Is look after the Architects Interests for example Klerck Architects had a big project going for Sishen South mine housing for Anglo American in Postmasburg Klerck were the Architects and my role was to over see the main contractor in the building of 718 houses ranging from 80 squares rite up to 400 squares working with Engineers,Architects and the Client to managing,reporting,recording and inspecting during construction scheduled holding points to verifying witness signing off ,contents for the construction data book the whole process from foundation to the last roof tile layed.Quality control Finishing schedules,Carpentry,plaster,paint,ceiling,tiles,built in cupboards and bathroom kitchen specifications.Test reports and certificates of compliance for electrical,plumbing,brickwork,trusses,glazing,field engineering queries,non conformance,concessions,As-built drawings +Register,DPC compaction test,cube results,earthing lightning protection density and storm water channeling land shaping I can carry on and onHand over procedures from pre punch snag list rite threw to practical completion.Council submission(As-Built drawings),occupancy certificates,hand over ,take over insure all is built to the Architects drawings and specifications and in end just to deliver a good quality product to the client.
