  Manager Strategy & Business Development

  After ~8 months in Yara ASA I was asked to join Yara Marine Technologies, a subsidiary of Yara ASA, as Head of Strategy & Business Development. In YMT I was responsible for managing, scaling and stabilizing the new company in China. In 12 months I helped grow the entity to ~40 employees and integrated it in our global organization. I also supported the COO and CEO of YMT to build, implement and scale the operating model as the company grew ~13-fold in 2 years.I led a strategy project where the objective was to investigate, map and assess business opportunities, and generate a strategic roadmap and recommendations, for how to grow the company within the maritime environmental space. Complementary to the project I also oversaw an additional workstream where we organized a start-up competition in the intersection "maritime" and "environmental technologies", encompassing both universities and start-up environments.I was also responsible for designing, implementing and managing a Transformation Office, where I managed a portfolio of strategically prioritized improvement projects across the organization - driving results through standardization and improving the pace and rhythm to planning and execution in our projects. In relation to his I also co-managed the implementation of OKR's (Objectives & Key Results), from methodology to management and system support.
