      - Played a stellar role in computerization of accounting processes in all institutions under the University.- Developed the concept of Student Finance Office where in all the student activities related to Finance, Hostels, Messes, Medical Insurance, etc of the 16 colleges of Manipal University were brought under one centralized office. This led to significant annual cost savings of Rs. one million. - Managed accounting and financial tasks of the University’s Student Finance Office/ Hostel Accounting Office/ Medicare Office.- Other accountabilities entailed administration of accounting activities for Distance Education and Heritage Book Shop.- Handled Manipal Health Plan (Medical Insurance) over 50,000 memberships.- Developed Medical Insurance Guidelines and rules for conferring mutual benefit to both the organization and the members. - Instituted the new Medical Insurance procedure as a result of which the Manipal Health Plan was converted into a profit-generation initiative from a loss-generated one.- Centralized the payroll office of all the hostel and messes in the colleges.
