  I established rapport and collaborated with clients in order to talk through life challenges and gain a full picture of a client’s life. I formed diagnosis according to DSM-5 criteria and created treatment plans for mental and emotional disorders and conditions, all under the supervision of a LPCC-S. I met with up to 15 clients a week in order to talk through and assess relevant issues including: previous trauma, blended family struggles, substance use and abuse, poor body image, and relationship conflicts. Assessments were administered for diagnosis as well as to track client progress and/or regression.
