  This role has been varied accross the time I have been in post. The generic aim of the role is to provide training and development opportunities to staff within the council. My focus was initially within the learning disability service, and I was responsible for the planning, development, comissioning and delivery of training for around 500 people. There was a focus on person centred planning although my remit was varied. More recently, I have been developing workbooks for use in the service on a wide range of subjects, including challenging behaviour, epilepsy, Stroke and the Mental capacity Act. I am also script writing for elearning programmes. Currently I am developing some of the processes and quality standards which apply to our workbook procedure. Show less
