Managing safety in such a big center (4000 square meter) where around 130 researchers coming from 20 different countries are working daily with high hazard chemicals, requires everyday a lot of work and dedication. I love the challenge. It is all about understanding the versatile nature of the academic research activity, establishing a safety culture and developing tools to assist busy researchers to perform their daily job duties properly and safely.
