  Service Engineer Offshore Cranes

  LIEBHERR is one of the major manufacturer for Offshore cranes in Europe. A lot of the products are send to South East Asia for assembly and commissioning.As a Service Engineer, I was responsible for the erection, commissioning, annual inspections, and service of all the offshore cranes throughout Asia. For the assembly and commissioning of the crane, I was working in collaboration with the personal of the shipyard for approximately two months depends on the country. Some training for maintenance and driving operations where given to the operators and persons in charge. Every day, planning the work in advance and managing the team for working in safety and good conditions.Regarding the annual inspections, I was responsible to make a complete check up of the crane in different aspects: structure, aspect, corrosion stage, leakage, functions, and adjustments. Ending up writing a report of the crane situation and recommendations with pictures and details.I was also in charge of doing the servicing or upgrade systems on the cranes. Yearly service and inspections when filters are changed, levels adjusted and shafts of motors and pumps checked. I was also leading some internal training sessions for the team in areas of expertise such as hydraulics, trouble-shooting, and mechanical systems. Show less
