  As Beverage Director, I curated an annually-earning $1 million beverage program, based in seasonally-inspired cocktail menus, as well as a Japanese and Korean-themed beer and sake list, and sommelier-selected wine list. Working with former Executive Chef Jae Park, we paired multiple private tasting menus and pre-fixe menus with his gorgeous dishes and complementary wines and spirits. My proudest achievement was getting to educate the staff through the world of spirits, cocktails, and beverage. I returned in March 2017 to freelance curate their spring cocktail menu. Show less

  I began as a server at Cindy's, executing efficient and hospitable service through fast-paced dining periods and privately-contracted events. For over a year, now, I have been the Special Events Manager, curating an annually-earning $2 million private events program. In being a liaison between back and front of house teams, I have led trainings, meetings, and collaborations on multiple fronts [including our seasonally-inspired Lakehouse Series Dinners, wine tastings, and management meetings]. In my time with Two Roads Hospitality [parent group], I was sent on task force to Hotel de Anza in San Jose, California, getting to revamp and execute their new beverage program. In two weeks, we were able to bring their beverage cost of 44% down to 23.5%. Since returning to Cindy's, I have focused on being an immediate supervisor to a team of 18 bussers and food runners, a reliable manager to a team of 75, and an ambitious professional, seeking to progress the hospitality industry, one experience at a time.
