  Banking customers’ patterns of behaviour and habits are changing and BBVA has a strong commitment to become the bank our customers need.I joined BBVA to face a new professional challenge, develop a Global Solution Architect profile, within the Architecture Team (Engineering).Global Solution Architects Team is responsible for supporting the various geographies and global areas that are part of BBVA Group in designing functional and technical solutions that meet Business needs. Hence, during this period, I had the chance to participate in establishing the Solution Architects role, among the different geographies, and in the definition of several initiatives aligned with our technology transformation strategy to evolve BBVA’s platform towards a global hybrid cloud platform. Later, I also took on the responsibility of leading the cloud governance function, which gave me the opportunity to become part of a multidisciplinary team and interact with professionals from areas beyond my usual Engineering stakeholders.
