      Accomplishments Mobilized thirteen teens to expand their leadership efforts whereby forming the organization’s first Youth Advisory Council. Developed training for the Youth Advisory Council in project management and facilitation to develop and implement the organizations’ inaugural Keystone Conference based on the national program conference model. Implemented several strategies to provide consistent and relevant coaching and training to Torch & Keystone Club advisors through the development of the Character & Leadership Learning Network. Contributed to significant gains in increased civic engagement for members ages 6-18 by structuring leadership Clubs to participate in collaborative service projects and a series of celebration weeks around national service initiatives. Provide direction and support to 24 Clubs to advance the impact of the organization’s outcomes in Character & Leadership. Develop strategies to track community service hours consistently in the organization. Observe, coach and encourage shared learning to ensure quality program fidelity and instruction that reflects Club members’ interests and meets organizational outcomes. Plan and implement new initiatives for Keystone and Torch Clubs including the development of social missions and a leadership track for each age group. Capstone project focused on hip hop pedagogy as an approach to facilitate positive youth development experiences. Insights from this project were leveraged to inform the origin development of Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Lyricism 101 targeted program.

      In the Chief Program Officer role, I hold responsibilities for defining and developing the overarching strategic vision and roadmap for student, school, and community violence prevention programmatic initiatives, setting the standard of excellence and modeling best practices across Sandy Hook Promise's (SHP) existing programs: Say Something Anonymous Reporting System (SSARS), National Crisis Center, Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) Promise Clubs, and Know the Signs.Programming Strategy: Lead a national research-based program model, one that integrates a race, equity, diversity, and inclusion (REDI) framework to deepen impact and advance the SHP theory of change with focus on scaling and sustaining existing programs and initiatives as well as expanding the program portfolio. Measurement and Evaluation: Establish and implement an overarching measurement and evaluation strategy against SHP's theory of change, advancing data and insight capability. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage stakeholders across the spectrum of K-12 providers to advance violence prevention strategies to include but not limited to local, state and national education providers, policy makers, law enforcement, and community-based organizations.
