  Program Manager Aug 2013 – PresentReporting to the Engineering Manager I am responsible for co-ordinating New Product Introduction programs for major Automotive OEM customers from project award to production start. Managed the successful on time introduction of 4 projects for 3 Automotive customers in the last 18 months (annual sales revenue over £10m).  Responsible for delivering 50 tools to production & managing total project budgets in excess of £5m GBP & sales. Work with customer to ensure product design feasibility, costs, timing & quality standards are understood & achievable. Regular feedback to customer & internal management on project progress, risks & performance against budget.  Co-ordinated the APQP process for a multi-function project team covering sourcing, tooling, quality, logistics and pre-production. Sourced and validated bespoke project jig, fixtures & packaging in line with project budgets. Prepared project & production documentation to meet internal & external customer requirements to the TS16949 standard. Provide ongoing support to previously introduced projects running in production.Quality Process Technician 2011 – Jul 2013 Customer Quality contact for 1 automotive & 3 non-automotive customers. Received & investigated customer complaints using an 8D process & appropriate quality tools. Collated & published department quality data daily. Generated Inspection Instructions, Work Instructions & trained out to appropriate departments. Obtained Six Sigma Greenbelt, the project I undertook was to reduce the number of Corrective Actions caused by labelling errors. Project achieved a £40,000 saving within the first year of changes by eliminating customer & re-work charges incurred by wrong and poor-quality labels.
