      Our College has organized a visit to Panipat Thermal Power Station, Haryana. From this visit, we get to know about how electricity is generated from the coal-based thermal power plant. We understand the working of switchyard, station transformer, generating transformer, etc. Also, there is a 10MW Solar Power Plant installed near the thermal power plant which will supply the electricity in different areas.

      Our College has organized a visit to Havells Neemrana, Rajasthan. From this visit, we get to know about how winding are done for motors and how all the parts of the motor are assembled and then tested. We get to know how the LED lights are made and how are they cut into pieces and connected to circuits. We get to know the process of making parts for electric geyser and assembling them.

      Our College has organized a visit to Hero Motocorp, Dharuhera, Haryana. From this visit, we get to know about how the two wheelers are manufactured. The process of assembling them in seconds. We get to know how they make engines and how the engine works. I get to see how the automation and robots are used in making and assembling the parts of the two wheelers.

      Department of Electrical Engineering organized an industrial visit on Biswanath Charali – Agra HVDC Line, India. Here I got to know about high-voltage DC transmission. The equipment and the process of converting high AC voltage to high voltage DC and vice versa by the use of equipment. From the visit, I came to know about the working of converter transformers, thyristor valves, and Bipoler Converter.

      Got 1st award in science Conclave 2022 for showcasing a project named as "Smart Solar Bin" in J.C Bose university of Science and Technology YMCA Faridabad Dr. Abhishek I have shown a prototype of the project "Smart Solar Bin" which operates by taking power from the solar panel during the day and during the night it is powered by taking supply from the battery that is charged by the solar panels during the day. It performs many operations like automatic opening and closing of the bin, senses whether the bin is full or not, waste segregation, hand sanitizer dispenser.
