  As a field science teacher for 5th and 6th graders, I developed and led environmental programs using interactive group dynamic techniques. My students and I explored the natural ecosystems of forest, wetlands and the ocean in predominately hands-on expeditions.

  As a program director for this international teen summer service organization, I have been deeply committed to changing young people's lives in the context of cross-cultural immersion and service work. I have led and developed one-month residential programs on the Blackfoot, Northern Cheyenne, and Flathead Indian Reservations of Montana; in Vietnam, Tortola, and South Carolina. I have managed staff in the field and was the primary liaison with our host community partners.

  I started out on the framing crew as a second lead carpenter and worked until I was hired as a construction supervisor. My role included scheduling, budgeting, and communication with subcontractors and clients. I received the blue prints at the beginning of the job and handed the keys off at the end of the job.

  As supervisor, I organized and oversaw the construction of all homes. I coordinated between the home owners and sub-contractors and was responsible for clear, concise communication and financially sound decisions. The accountability of delivering an exceptional unique product on time was my primary focus and responsibility.

The pace was exciting, fast, and always moving forward. I managed jobs for our foundational partners up to larger jobs that were multifaceted and staged over time. I had clear, strong communication and presentation skills. I managed scheduling, budgets, and data input for the jobs assigned to me. I was a self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills.   As the manager of Populous' Brand Activation team, I apply my 20 plus years of project management experience in directing the development and delivery of environmentally interactive projects. Over the course of my career, I have completed projects for a wide variety of clients including educational institutions, retail brands, and professional sports teams. In the last couple years, I have begun to focus on the design and development of esports at the college and professional level.
