Generally includes ticket scanning, removal of people that become unwell over the front barrier and showing customers to there seats.

  Work experience

  Undertook a weeks work experience at BAM UK & Ireland working with the project Quantity surveyor on the Sunderland train station project. While working on site I sat in a few sub-contractor meetings as well as regular site walk arounds with the client. I was introduced to different measurement software and many different excel functions.

  Work experience

  I completed a weeks work experience at this consultancy firm in Leeds. During the week I was taken on site to a newly built retirement home that was near practical completion. I also was introduced to measurement software where I was measuring plans in order for the senior QS to price.

  Work experience

  I undertook a weeks work experience at Turner and Townsend. During the week I spent time a lot of time with the Infrastructure team in which I learnt lots about how there team runs. I sat in meetings as well as completed some tasks around project control. I also spent time with the BIM team in which I learn about the tools that are currently being used in the construction industry.
