Ensure oil record book and engine room log book are accurate and up to date. Requisition and purchase of spares and consumables to own department according to budget. Other duties as required by the Master including implementation of the company’s safety and environmental policy, motivation of the crew in observation of that policy and issue appropriate orders and instructions in a clear and simple manner.
