Charged with obtaining the Radioactive Materials License (RAM) from the State of Maryland, the purchase of required equipment to ensure compliance with all Federal and State guidelines, designed the imaging room and Hot lab for the facility, implemented the Radiation Safety Program for the facility, provided all patient care in the nuclear cardiology setting, supervising the stress testing in the presence of the physician, maintained the standards of processing for Thallium and Technetium based studies, ensured proper billing codes submitted for reimbursement, oversaw the production and distribution of the nuclear cardiology final reports.   Not only do I run the Nuclear and cardiac PET imaging department, I am in charge of payroll for over 42 employees, both 1099 and W2; I manage the health care of the employees; I manage their involvement in our 401(K) plan; I provide discipline to the office. I also am in charge of ensuring vendors are reimbursed, participate in contract negotiation with many of our vendors, and engaging the State on unemployment issues to involve attending hearings, as needed.

  Experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a demonstrated history of working in the medical practice industry as a whole. Skilled in Public Speaking, Management, Healthcare, Leadership, and Nuclear Medicine. Currently serving as the chief nuclear technologist in a nuclear cardiology private practice, as well as the Technical Director for the Intersocietal Commission accredited site. I also serve as the interim Practice Manager for my current location for over 8 years. I care deeply about both the physical and mental health of patients and their families.
