  Worked for research project called METHODS FOR IMPROVING REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH IN AFRICA (MIRA) at the Perinatal Research Unit (PHRU) as a supervisor for the Counsellor. The research project was investigating the effects of Diaphragm if women use it to fight HIV/AIDS. Was responsible for the customer care, monitoring and evaluation the time waited by clients and the quality of the work by the counsellors, report writing and coming up with business plans and proposal for the research project.

  Used to work as a Project Coordinator in starting, implementing and managing a Centre in a project called Imbizo Men’s Health Project. The project dealt with HIV/AIDS issues in a man's context; that is pre and post HIV test counselling, promotion of healthy living styles, living positively with HIV, HIV treatment and adherence education; and a whole array of other health related issues that affect men, like fatherhood and gender based violence.My duties ranged from doing general Customer Care (Telephonic and Face to face). Developing and maintaining working relationships with other stakeholders. Training, Mentoring and taking care of Administration including developing forms for various aspects of our Project. Compiling statistic report and a report about the centre in general. Assisted companies such as Murray & Roberts, Fleet Africa, Johannesburg Correctional Services and Dura Pilling with their HIV/AIDS programmes by conducting training workshops. Show less

  Worked for HIVSA as a Community Development Officer,Trainer/Facilitator, Moderator and Assessor. Duties ranged from helping out in development of training manuals, conducting trainings as well as workshops and assessments (marking of scripts), organising of events and Organisational Capacity building for NGOs. Translation of reading materials from English/Afrikaans to South African indigenous languages.

  My duties are to start a company (Batsumi Training Translations), drafting policies, recruiting and interviewing potential staff members, marketing the company, setting up IT solutions, searching for prospective investments, drafting Quality Management Systems, setting up and managing board of directors, setting up financial systems to name but a few.Provide training, assessments and moderations where necessary.
