Maintains and manages installations of Client software on Windows 7 and XP clients using Installshield while installations on the Unix Sun Servers are using Sun Package Installs. Web-Logic and Java components are delivered and installed in over 12 different environments. Show less Designed and developed a 3 tier application architecture using Visual C++, ActiveX/OLE2, Jet Database 3.5 (DAO), Tuxedo, Oracle, Oracle OCI, Rogue Wave, and Unix C++. The Client server applications send service calls and data to C++ services managed through BEA’s Tuxedo product. The services dynamically bind with Oracle packages using Oracle Call Interface (OCI). Reply data is sent back to the client where it is placed in a Jet Database using DAO. The visual basic forms are then notified by events that the data has arrived and with the status of the service call. This was accomplished through an ActiveX controls which are part of the form. By creating standard views of the data it was possible to generate code and produce basic Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) services with little effort. The architecture has allowed developers to produce hundreds of services and Oracle packages by simply defining views of the data. Another of the many features of this architecture is the dynamic creation of all objects and binding of the data requiring no code changes when data is redefined. This system supports over 12,000 users worldwide. Multiple applications have been produced and delivered into production for a Ratings, Personal Information Management, Awards Generation, and Payment Applications. Show less
