      Elected at the age of 18, being one of the youngest elected officials during the July 15, 2002 Barangay Elections. He was 3rd year college student and the Editor-in-Chief of the college publication when he elected to office. Served as Chairman of Finance and Appropriations and Environment Committees.Few months before the end of his term, he was appointed in the Municipal Government as Secretary/Chief of Staff of the Office of the Mayor.

      He served as Board Member representing the student sector in his capacity as President of the Student Council Federation of two campuses, CSPC Nabua-Main Campus and CSPC Naga City Campus.The Board of Trustees is the highest policy-making body of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC).CSPC is a state college in the Philippines. It is mandated primarily to provide higher technological, professional and vocational instruction and training in fisheries, trade and technology, arts and sciences, as well as short term technical and vocational courses, as the Board of Trustees may deem necessary, and shall promote researches in the exploration and conservation of natural resources in the province. Its main campus is located in Nabua, Camarines Sur. The CSPC Naga Campus is now an independent state college named Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST). Show less
