  Christmas Display Installation Team Member

  I was personally chosen to assist a window display design competition winner with the installation of a kitsch, festive display at Boudette, Cavern Walks. The winning design was chosen by the staff at Boudette - one of the four stores designated for our team to work with as part of a live brief - who assigned one day to install the display promoting the fashion brand’s winter clothing lines.

  For a five-day period, I assisted the display artist in producing small-scale displays using a variety of merchandise including potted plants and flowers, garden furniture, children’s toys and home ware. I also designed and installed a themed window display showcasing patriotic merchandise for the celebration of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.

  I worked within a team of lecturers and class peers to produce an innovative solution to decorating Bootle Town Hall for an event held by youth charity, YKids. The company required a vibrant, fun and visually pleasing design, with only four days to complete the project and a very limited budget put in place.

  Sephora Hair Presentation Live Brief (PAVE International)

  I entered the PAVE International 2013 Student Competition with my entry for the Visual Merchandising sector. An annual live competition, this year saw cosmetics chain Sephora seeking a design for a series of fixtures and product-display stands to be used in-store.

  After being chosen by the Principal and Chief Executive as winner of a competition to design a Christmas card that would be distributed throughout the college, I joined a team of lecturers and class peers to design, produce and install a festive display in the reception area of the building.
