Representing the Eye Bank at the Trust Governance meetings as well as the general liaison with suppliers local and international.Responsibilities:- Managing a small team of eye bank technicians delivering ocular tissue to Moorfields Eye Hospital.- Operational management to meet clinical needs, liaised and coordinated with US and European eyebanks for the supply of corneal grafts;- Quality review of the consent, processing, storage, distribution and import of ocular tissue fortransplant.Achievements:- Import of ocular tissue from third-party countries;- Negotiated a local supply arrangement to reduce the running cost of the laboratory Show less
