      Providing professional services to a wide range of clients, small and large business and corporations nationally and internationally. Michael's clients have included Board of Directors, C-level executives and top management teams of companies going through large system change projects. He has successfully advised and consulted in the profit and non-profit sectors, as well as colleges and municipal government. He served as a Special Advisor to the President of United Way of America, and was the Principal Consultant of a redesign/strategic planning initiative of the Human Resource Division at Storage Technology/Oracle.Michael's commitment and focus is to make sure that his clients are working on the right problem verses the symptoms of the problem. Challenges that his clients face and master include defining vision, mission, core values, and objectives, redesigning the formal and informal operating systems, designing and implementing system wide initiatives, building an effective top management team, increasing productivity, entering new markets, developing new products, turning around marginal and failing operations, and creating a clear vision for the future. During his tenures, programs under my leadership have been awarded the California Healthy Cities and Communities Special Achievement Award and the Outstanding Achievement Award by The United States Conference of Mayors as a model of effective collaboration. the California Association of Non-Profits prestigious “Impact Award” for “Its creative and collaborative work fighting malnutrition nationwide truly representing the best of nonprofit thinking, resources and action.”, the “Celebrating Excellence Award” from the Campaign for Better Health and Citizens for Health, as well as the Nutrition Business Journals “Business Achievement Award” in 2005 and their “Charity Services Award” in 2006.
