Well Delivery Lead for Deepwater Frontier Exploration. Primary responsibilities include planning and drilling Deepwater Frontier Exploration Wells in the Americas and ensuring cross-disciplinary integration for safe and efficient delivery,Key Responsibilities:- Integrated trajectory design and optimization with shallow hazards, petrophysicists, reservoir engineering, and well engineering- Compliance with internal and external standards and regulatory requirements- Stakeholder management across technical contributors, management, regulatory, and partners Show less Production Geologist on Appomattox primarily responsible for geological analysis of the Vicksburg field area to support near-term decisions for the 2021 and 2022 drilling sequence. Key Achievements- Vicksburg Field: delivered updated property models for the Vicksburg reservoirs and studies support to well delivery, well location evaluation, and well, facility, and reservoir management - Delivery of probabilistic volume estimates for the Vicksburg area, including automation of subsurface map generation- Delivered several rapid-build subsurface models to answer immediate business needs including well planning decisions, exploration well outcome scenarios, and regional geologic interpretation and data integration- Applied new software and techniques to build and simulate fluid flow multiple alternative subsurface models, including cutting-edge software and new techniques in volume-based modeling- Incorporated advanced petrophysical logs, including NMR and elemental logs, into reservoir models Show less Project Geologist for Vito Development. Primarily responsible for planning and executing 8 Deepwater Subsalt Development Wells. Other responsibilities included, static modeling and volume estimation, well intervention and abandonment, waterflood studies, and data analytics for offset analysis.Key Achievements- Vito Phase 1 Development: Maturation of 8 Deepwater Development wells in Vito's subsalt Miocene Turbidite reservoir, resulting in all wells coming at or above P50 expectations with an average cost of $84 MM/well ($102 MM @ OP18) with an expected EUR of 301 MMboe total gross and a breakeven price of $32/boe- Operations Geologist: Onsite Operations Geologist Liaison for 4 Deepwater wells on the Deepwater Poseidon Drillship- Well Delivery Lead for MC984-VA6: Coordinated an integrated team of 15+ contributors through maturation and execution of Vito’s final development well, setting a new record for Extreme Reach Wells (29,647’ TVDkb, 8,809’ step-out) and coming in 12.32 days and $8.53 MM under AFE- Well Delivery Lead for the Permanent Abandonment of MC984-1: Lead a team through the US GOM Well Abandonment Process for Vito's first exploration well, resulting in an ABEX reduction from $21 MM to $14.2 MM.- Spearheaded development of Vito's Subsurface Isolation Strategy, ensuring a consistent approach to future abandonments further reducing abandonment cost and liabilities for Shell.- Development of a comprehensive Spotfire database/dashboard for tracking and visualizing "trouble events" from offset wells, resulting in ~60-80% reduction in time spent compiling data for offset well analysis. - Vito Phase II Waterflood: PG focal point for the maturation of 3 DW injection wells, increasing the field EUR by 48-143 MMboe with a BEP of $31/bbl.
