      Executive Director/Board Member

As an Executive Director of FSC Estonia, I was in charge of the everyday operations and the strategic development of the organization. As a head of a small NGO, I had to bring multiple skills to the table, essentially being a one-man-show for a long time as the role had so many different facets to it. Among other tasks, it was my responsibility to develop the yearly financial and action plans, manage the finances and contracts with partners and employees, manage the development of risk assessments and standards, lead on reporting, manage outreach and engage with the members of the organization, chair the board meetings, members' meetings, standard development group meetings, etc.Further, I was the organization representative in engaging with a wide spectrum of stakeholders from businesses, social and environmental NGOs to different state institutions and media.Bringing a growth mindset to the organization, I was able to go from a part-time position to a leadership role in the Baltic region and become a significant partnership organization for FSC International in Europe.
