  • Conducted a randomized controlled cross-over clinical trial that includes independent data analysis as part of the research for the primary dissertation. This successfully addressed the growing concerns about thedevelopment of plastic waste from toothbrushes (the second greatest source of plastic waste in the world) and arrived at an alternative, sustainable, economical, and accessible form of oral cleaning aids.• Part of a team that designed a digital campaign to combat the covid vaccine infodemic after conducting aquantitative assessment of the enrolment rate among health personnel. After the campaign, the total enrolment for the first dose of vaccine increased from 46% to 97%.• Conducted two types of qualitative-quantitative studies(content analysis), analyzing the impact of television food advertising on a popular children's cartoon channel on oral health and health-related news coverage inIndia's top five circulated newspapers. Developed strategies to solve the issues that emerged, and presented this research at the IAPHD 2019 and 2021 national conferences, winning best paper for original research in both years.• Conducted two quantitative studies independently to assess Knowledge, attitude, and awareness ofprescription pharmaceuticals and the Consumer Protection Act (COPRA) among Davangere dentistry and medical undergraduates and postgraduates. Following a root cause analysis from the statistics that was arrived at, an e-module was created to address the infodemic that resulted from this study, and it was presented to undergraduate dentistry students in the form of a workshop.• Guided a group of undergraduate students working on ICMR projects.
