      I worked in a temporary role created due to the release of the guaranteed growth 65+ bonds. I checked evidence of the identity documents sent in by customers against the information supplied when purchasing bonds, and also carried out secondary checks using specialist software before having to decide to either progress the bonds sale or to contact customer in writing if I deemed further information/documentation was required.

      I work across all areas of the organisation, producing insightful analysis to support operational and strategic decision making. I am part of a small team within Corporate Services and work with colleagues throughout the business to understand and fulfil their information requirements. I also work with the Senior Management Team to deliver timely, quality analysis.Main Duties Produce daily, weekly and monthly performance reports used across Disclosure Scotland to monitor progress on our SLA (Performance Target). Create and run reports to provide management information in response to requests from all areas of the business, as well as in response to Freedom of Information requests. Produce high quality analysis to support strategic workstreams and provide reliable evidence on which key decisions can be made e.g. volume forecasting, staff modelling. Show less The role required meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. I was the first point of contact for customers providing a first class customer service. Using a number of computer based systems I was tasked with locating relevant information for inclusion on Disclosure certificates.Specific Duties•Customer Relations. Deal with enquires to the Disclosure Scotland Helpline and other business areas following agreed procedures and understanding how and where to escalate as appropriate.•Process Disclosure applications. Check the accuracy of application information supplied to ensure all mandatory fields are completed: all necessary documents/information associated with registration applications have been supplied: issue a notification to the Applicant or Organisation requesting that any missing information is supplied.•Ensure all relevant information is transferred accurately to the Disclosure Scotland PVG system correcting where appropriate and complete.•Carry out any other associated application processing tasks assigned by your the leader and undertake all processing tasks in accordance with departmental benchmarks.•Compare applicant’s details against criminal record databases and prescribed lists to determine whether information exists and is relevant for disclosure: check the accuracy of information supplied to ensure that the required search criteria are met: ensure all relevant information is transferred accurately to the disclosure system, accurately apply the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and other relevant legislation.•Access computerised criminal history databases (CHS/PNC) and other sources, and match any relevant records to applicants.•Undertake quality assurance checks for your peer group with an expectation of continuous learning and improvement.
