  In my role as a Data Analyst Intern/Student Worker, I am responsible for building visualizations and dashboards to display insights to clients and allow them to make better business decisions. There have been many times that clients would come with a data need, but still not fully know what they want to see. Helping clients understand what they want to see from their data and their options is an important part of this line of work. I have worked with two different clients who were completely new to our systems and had been tracking their data in spreadsheets. I was able to successfully introduce them to what analytics we could offer and was able to integrate their data into our visualization software. Show less My main role as a Student Endpoint Specialist was to provide all of the in-house employees with anytechnical support they may need, which mostly includes software and hardware. A large part of the job's responsibility was maintaining installations and updates of certain vital software that everyone used. Organizing these updates required diligent planning and people skills due to the fact that when a client was due for an update, it wasn't always the most convenient time for them. Through collaborative work with other endpoint colleagues we were routinely able to maintain software installation and updates while tending to other ad hoc hardware responsiblities. Show less
