  Worked as Assistant Resident Engineer under PEC JV (Joint Venture among Pyunghwa Engineering Consultants Ltd, Saman Corporation, Korea Expressway Corporation, Seoul Metropolitan Government and Jurutera OMC), Project Management Consultants for the ‘Proposed Construction of Pulau Muara Besar Bridge, Road and Utilities’. This project is a design and build project under the Brunei Economic Development Board with a total construction cost of B$ 261.09M.Main objective of this project is to provide a vehicular link between the mainland of Brunei and the Pulau Muara Besar (Island) by the construction of a 2.68km bridge, and a 2.93km main road, approach road and to facilitate connection for utilities comprising of power, telecommunication, treated and untreated water works. The significance of this project is that the Pulau Muara Besar is now under fast-track development for petro-chemical facilities under a separate project.Present responsibilities include site supervision, attending progress, technical and co-ordination meetings and preparing minutes, preparing daily site records, site observation notes, site memos, non-conformance reports, incident reports, health, safety and environment monitoring, assisting resident engineer and project managers, reviewing method statements and technical submissions from contractor, quality assessment and evaluation, monitoring clerk of works, etc.I ha​d been working with engineering contracting and consulting companies since my graduation in Engineering.​ ​Main ​responsibilities undertaken were project management,​ ​​engineering design, co-ordination with government departments, conducting progress, technical and​ ​​coordination​ meetings, preparing minutes of meetings,​ ​preparing monthly progress reports, issuing site memos and instructions, ​quality control​ ​​of works, site inspections and supervision, surveying works​, ​site investigations for​ feasibility study, ​etc.​ Show less
