  I worked on customer files. I set up the files so that they could go to film as well as to plate. My main function was a trouble shooter. In the early stages of the Adobe Post Script language files did not play nice with the image setters. It was a prepress operators job to figure out what was causing it not to work in a timely fashion.

  As the Prepress manager I lined up the days work for the operators. Along with managing the department I also worked on jobs as well. I helped with the cutting of proofs, making of plates. I also was responsible for ordering supplies and make suggestions for any equipment that was needed for the department.

  My day to day functions as Prepress Manager is to make sure that the department is able to meet the daily workload. Along with being a manager I am also a prepress operator as well. I work on jobs to meet the customer demands. I order all the supplies for the department along with any equipment that is needed as well.
