  I worked as a department manager and assistant manager. Given that the supermarket can be classified as small to medium-sized, these roles were performed simultaneously. As a department manager, I oversaw the daily operations of the fruits and vegetables section. Additionally, in my role as an assistant manager, I had a more overarching responsibility by managing other departments and ultimately assuming a leadership role in the supermarket. I worked as a team leader, overseeing a team of 15+ stockers. Started at a young age in the family business Coop Dekker. I began as a stocker and cleaner.

  I grew up in an entrepreneurial environment, which contributed to my passion for starting and running my own business. Sharing this passion with my two brothers led to the founding of our company: Degenkamp Retail. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring at the pre-university level in various subjects, including History, English, and Mathematics (A). This experience has significantly enhanced my ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner. It has also contributed to my growth as a patient and empathetic educator. Fortunately, I can proudly say that, with consistent guidance and support, my students have made remarkable progress in their academic achievements.

  Backpacking Southeast Asia

  During an unforgettable adventure spanning 8 months, I had the opportunity to explore the richness of cultures, landscapes, and people in Southeast Asia. Alongside my twin brother, we embarked on a journey that not only broadened my perspective but also strengthened my skills and knowledge in various areas. This expedition enabled me to:1. Embrace Culture and Diversity:Throughout my time in Southeast Asia, I learned the importance of approaching diverse cultures and traditions with respect. This sharpened my communication skills and helped me successfully interact with people from around the world.2.
