Her work provides communications support services such as meeting coordination, meeting minutes documentation, scheduling and other duties in that realm.She has provided the logistical support to the Director of Customer Care so that he can quickly identify, understand and meet regularly with key customers of the Office of the Chief Information Officer supports within the Department of Energy. Aside from all her other day-to-day work, she started coordination with key customer areas and their appropriate representatives to schedule time for "House Visits". This required coordination with 20+ staff offices, program offices and other agencies with multiple representatives at each. She attended each meeting with me to capture concerns, discussion and data content.Once the House Visits were accomplished, Ms. Katie Schmidt-Harris consolidated all the data and provided her trending analysis as to what the top three customer concerns were. Although I accomplished my own analysis separately, she was deadly accurate in her observations as we discovered in comparing notes. She additionally assistedin the coordination of a recent Customer Service Focus Meeting where I brought guest speakers in that shared their perspectives in relation to customer care. Without the extremely valuable input, assistance and support from Ms. Schmidt-Harris, I would have never been able to pull this off within the time frame I needed to deliver in. Additionally, her trending analysis previously mentioned was a key hinge point in the success of the Customer Service Focus Meeting.Ms. Schmidt-Harris displays a high level of professional integrity and performs with unusual accuracy, thoroughness and effectiveness in everything she does.
