      • Managing the Northern Marine Management Cadet Training Programme and the joint Caledonian MacBrayne and Northlink Ferries scheme. • Onboard training and lecturing of cadets assigned to the tall ship MIR. Responsible for production of cadet berthing assignment plans for all three companies • Conduct cadet induction and interviews for all new cadets • Develop and maintain relationship with cadet external clients. After seeing a lot of students are needing support outside of the classroom, but were struggling to access support at a time that was suitable for the student, Sarah decided to set up SafeSeas Training.Our ethos is that students should be able to access quality online training throughout their cadetship, from day one right through to passing their orals and this service has been set up to provide support from the first days of learning, right through to practising and perfecting for parts A and B of the MCA assessment process.The SeaSeas Training learning platform allows deck cadets to access online support for the whole of the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency syllabus. The platform includes:- Underpinning knowledge for the whole SQA Nautical Science syllabus- Tutorial videos, including step-by-step worked examples- Written ‘How to’ guides for all calculations- Downloadable templates.
