  Noteworthy Experience:- Design of a custom data acquisition system to bring digitized field testing to our company for the first time.- Spearheaded our first ventures into Navier-Stokes Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) including expedited mesh development through custom programming and graduate level turbulence model studies.- Runner design, focused on improved efficiency, cavitation reduction, and economical manufacture.- Lead hydraulic project engineer for a number of complex hydroturbine model tests, including performance and cavitation studies, large hydraulic thrust changes, four-quadrants studies and subsequent transient analysis, and pressure pulsation reduction.- Extensive field testing experience for performance and turbine aeration techniques.- Cavitation damage inspection and cause elimination.- Oversight of a major revision to our runner design software, reducing design cycle time to 10% of pre-revision levels.- Custom programming development to assure manufactured runner compliance with industry standards (taking days off of the process).
