My main responsibilities entail beating sales goals, managing many KPI's, recruiting, training, cash handling and banking, visual merchandising, following corporate initiatives and policies, scheduling, managing stock levels, analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales, interpreting and reacting to market trends to facilitate the release of high demand products and staffing levels, use sales figures to analyse sales trends to enable an accurate schedule is produced.I have excellent communication skills, I collect weekly information for four stores and feedback to my district manager. I also support these stores with day to day issues.I keep abreast of market trends in the retail industry and have a close eye on my competitors, of which there are 6 within a 500 meter radius. In the past I have supporting with market analysis and reporting back to my DM by email. I have an acute awarenessof what our completion brings to the table as I am fascinated by sneaker culture and fashion trends. I regularly visit our competition to try and leverage our market. Use of online applications and competitors websites can often bring a great insight. I have spent a lot of time in the field and have made good connections in the industry both internal and external. In 2019 I was fortunate to be part of a management focus group and partook in a market travel of Belgium. This was a fantastic experience that really helped me with my development and gained some great connections. I am always a pilot store or SME when we have new initiatives and systems. This involves working with DMs and the Specialist teams in the office and field in rolling out the initiatives and training store managers.
