      I managed a large inner city school library in Manchester. I was responsible for the management, development, promotion and evaluation of an effective learning resources and information services which supported learning and teaching across the school. I was responsible for acquiring, organising and maintaining cross curricular resources that supported the learning needs of pupils and the wider school community. I managed all resources withing the school library, including print, audio-visual, online and e-learning material and was ultimately responsible for creating and developing a school culture that promoted and supported reading for pleasure.It was my duty to lead and a leader and partner with teaching staff in the collaborative design and implementation of information literacy programmes throughout the school. I formed a strong collaborate partnership with all departments to effectively support and resource each key stage. Show less I was the lead teaching assistant within a special needs primary school classroom. I worked alongside and supported the class teacher with designing the syllabus in line with the EYFS curriculum. In this role, I predominantly worked with non-verbal autistic pupils so being adaptable and flexible was key to effective practice. I led a team of teaching assistants to support the classroom teacher and was responsible for ensuring that logistics for the day were planned and executed effectively. Organization and communication were key skills in this role and I was required to demonstrate both effectively to ensure the provision and management of a safe classroom environment. I lead the literacy provision within my classroom which was designed and implemented each half term.I supported the school in fostering a positive relationships with the school community through the provision and organisation of school events and fundraising nights!
