  I worked with the committee to provide comments, recommendations and advice to Council and staff on parks and environment related issues in the City of North Vancouver. The committee addressed passive and active recreational activities within our community; as well as the establishment, upkeep and promotion of parks and natural areas.

  As the lead Project Manager within the Falls Prevention Team I was responsible for identifying, developing and implementing Seniors Falls Prevention initiatives for acute, home, residential care and community. By developing sustainable programs to reduce falls and related injuries, the team played an integral role in ongoing positive related health outcomes and cost savings due to falls and related injuries in the VCH region.

  I work with clients to help them live their daily life to the fullest by helping them understand and treat any issues they are experiencing—allowing them to return to the activities they enjoy. Many of my clients have or are experiencing incontinence, vaginal/rectal pain, constipation, pregnancy and menopausal problems; or a variety of orthopaedic concerns including back and joint pain, whiplash or recovery from an accident or surgery.

  I coach and instruct the Coretiques with Hypopressives Class, which works with women to improve their health through Hypopressives, rehabilitation and strengthening exercises to retrain the deep core. The benefits of this course include: improved posture, restored core strength; improved sexual desire and function, eliminate incontinence, reduce prolapse and to repair diastasis.
