      Anti-Carceral Co-Laboratory Resident

The Anti-Carceral Co-Laboratory (ACC) is a Mellon-funded project to build a regional hub in the greater Boston, MetroWest and Northeast region that centers the experiences and expertise of women, girls, trans and non-binary people, and families impacted by incarceration and criminalization. Housed at Wellesley College, the ACC facilitates sustained, accountable co-learning between academic and community partners. A primary goal of the hub is to co-create knowledge about the intersections of race, gender, punishment, anti-carceral resistance, and abolition through community-based research, activism, and creative work.
