      Maintained and supported a network of 50+ computers in the Emergency Operation Center (EOC). The network consisted of three Dell Servers, two proprietary servers for communications recording and logging (Higher Ground), a time server (Cymphonix), and a PIX firewall. The servers were connected to a Cisco router using Cat-5e.Maintained networked paging system. The system consisted of 3rd-party paging on the server-client side, and another program, Page Monitor, was used to monitor and setup the paging protocols, profiles and groups on the paging side. Responsible for Internet filtering via White-listed and Black-listed IP-addressing using a proxy server (Cymphonix Network Composer). I also created special groups with internet-usage rules for Quality of Service (bandwidth usage and internet application usage by priority).Maintained user IP connections in multiple VLAN's using a Telnet connection from a command line. Each VLAN was associated with a specific function or group (Smith Co. Users, 911 dispatch operators, time server, IP radio traffic, etc.). Updated and maintained settings on Cymphonix time server. The internal software was maintained via a web interface. The BIOS was updated using a serial connection and command-line procedures using a 3rd party program (Putty.exe).Maintained server and set network connections for IP radio traffic (Higher Ground - Commercial Electronics) on multiple computers. This was used to monitor police radio traffic by 911 dispatch and the Sheriff’s Dept.Maintained user profiles using Cisco’s VPN client on a Secure Virtual Private Network (VPN).
