  As an Reporting Technology Lead working on Client location in Atlanta, GA leading a team of 14, worked on a report conversion project from Hyperion Interactive Reports to TIBCO Spotfire Report. Roles were mostly to analyzing the Hyperion Reports and building up Spotfire reports keeping the business functionalities intact. Roles involved in creating the new semantic models for the report keeping the business functionalities in mind. As the single client facing Team Lead, the main responsibility consisted of making sure the project was executing properly and on time. Working with all levels of management to define requirements, set goals and manage expectations Mentoring team members and helping them with any challenges that they are facing. Problem identification and issue resolution. Developing procedures and development process standards. Understanding and Analyzing the Hyperion Interactive Reports, trying to understand the functionalities of each report. Designing and Building the Data Sources, Information Links and Data Connections that will be used to build the reports. The Hyperion reports queries were rationalized and a generic design for the Information Link needed to be created that would optimize the reporting and also suffice as a source for multiple Spotfire reports.   As BI Analyst and Business Analyst working on a strategic transformation to build a new system LMx to support its core business and to envision the benefits of last mile next generation Data and Analytics platform my current job duties include closely working with the Product team and the business team to understand the Business Intelligence (BI) requirements. To interact with the business in understanding the type of analysis they are looking for. Discussing their pain points and proposing solutions that will help them overcome their challenges. Helping the business understand the current data and how to use the data effectively to bring value to the business process. Creating Report and Data Visualization mockups using Power BI and sharing it with business for more data insights. Based on the business requirements identifying the possible data points required to be present in the system. Interacting with the product team on understanding how the product works and ensuring if all the potential data points that are required for Business Analytics are being captured. In the process performing the GAP Analysis between the product and the business expectations. Creation of user stories for the development Sprints. Based on the requirements of the reports, Analytical Dashboards and other BI Solutions create User Stories that contains all the functional and technical requirements ready for the development team to start. Coordinate between the business, Product and development teams ensuring seamless transition of requirements and concerns (in any). Performing Report Rationalization which requires an overall review of all the reports present in the current system which includes the dimensions, measures and Key performance indicators. After reviewing on the existing reporting solutions propose changes and consolidations and removal of reports based on their utilities or duplication. Show less
