  Coordinated satellite and fiber windows inbound and outbound plus able to downlink digital/ analog signals. Learned the patching system as well as the receiver configurations, plus the Scheduall System, keeping a database of all the activity and happenings in the Satellite Operations Center. This in addition to the INEWS system use for the data base as well as the logging of material. Operated the following equipment: Sony router, DPS Frame sync, Processor amps, RF patch panel, Reuter VOD, NBC VOD, The Miami Switch, QC stations with digital scopes for audio and video, IFB/RTS systems inbound/outbound and internal to all the control rooms, have also learned the importance of video quality by checking all video and audio prior to sending to a VTR machine to record or to a control room for a live hit.
