      National President, Pi Kappa Delta (2015-2017)• Provided direction and leadership to the largest and oldest of the nation’s intercollegiate speech and debate societies. Pi Kappa Delta has approximately 100 chapters in 47 states. Active annual individual membership is 1,500 to 1,700. • Collaboratively led the National Council in planning all aspects of the organization—most notably the national tournament—attended by approximately 90 to 95 schools with some 2,100 total entries.• Administered annual budgets. • Worked closely with the Chief Financial Officer to oversee organizational assets. • Facilitated passage of 17 amendments to the PKD constitution. • Oversaw fundraising efforts resulting in substantial grant support.• Oversaw and facilitated contracts with hotels and other vendors. • Orchestrated the development of new competitive events such as literary criticism and interviewing. • Developed and implemented an annual professional development pre-conference where faculty and students present papers on various aspects of speech and debate administration, education, and support.
