  House building

  House building is a major project that contains lots of different phases and work tasks similarly than in the work life projects. We built one-off house ourselves and I have led design and planning, handled materials and subcontracting logistics and done most part of the actual building work myself. We moved into our new house in June 2015 and currently I am finalising a garage. I have gained lots of hands-on experience by finding out and then just doing: + construction design and engineering basics + materials planning, calculation & orders + insulated concrete block building, casting concrete work + woodwork + electrical, plumbing & HVAC planning & installation + interior installations & finishing + garden work Show less
