      Organization of a regional workshop on the State of the World Forest Genetic Ressources which took place in Tunisia from 14 to 16th of June 2011.The project is a collaboration between WWF and FAO, it aims to elaborate a final report on the forest genetic resources's state in the world.

      • Building the capacity of the Tunisian civil society and Wetlands managers in terms of monitoring, evaluation and conservation of wetlands, • Monitoring of environmental education programs in schools • Coordinating with consultants to ensure the completion of wetlands' management plans• Organizing education and information campaigns focusing on the natural, economic and social values of the Tunisian wetlands in 3 pilot sites in the governorates of Bizerte, Nabeul and Gafsa.• The project's achievements are the creation of a national associative network on wetlands named TunWet, the adding of 15 Tunisian sites on the list of Ramsar Convention on wetlands, and the production of educational materials on wetlands. I work towards ensuring that a systemic change is under way for a better teaching, learning and assessment of English. - Managed the second phase of English for Employability project aiming to improve the English language capabilities of all trainers and interns in the public vocational centres. - managed Tunisia Speaks English conference which hosted 300 delegates who represented a wide range of stakeholders involved in the teaching and learning of English in Tunisia, resulting in a series of recommendations for the current education reform in Tunisia. GemWet is an initiative that aims to continue the efforts of rational and sustainable use of the complex of lagoons in Ghar el Melh for the benefit of man and nature. It is a conservation and sustainable development project will focus on strengthening processes and mechanisms for planning and decision-making for integrated coastal wetland resource management. The project will also help strengthen local sustainable know-how through the identification of projects in the fields of tourism, agriculture,fisheries and culture that do not harm the rich ecosystem of the area.
