      Senior Research Lecturer

      I manage the IBERS Translational Genomics facility, which aims to support our institute with access to next-generation DNA sequencing and high-throughput genotyping platforms and expertise. My own research team focuses on exploring genome diversity in both plants and animals, primarily to harness useful variation into breeding programs. However, we also have ongoing projects on conservation genetics and breed identification.
