      Glycosylation (sugar modification) is a critical post-translational modification for human health. This research uses synthetic chemistry to decipher the functions of glycosylation in the signaling pathways of immune cells. This is done using organic chemistry and biochemistry tools to take a close look at how sugars are involved in human health at the molecular level.
