Automated Controls and Cyber Security Branch ChiefHydroelectric Design CenterU.S. Army Corps of EngineersDuties: I perform directive duties necessary to oversee and evaluate programs, projects, and activities for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) solutions at 30 field locations for the Bureau of Reclamation, Bonneville Power Administration, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Such duties include policy development, workforce development and retention, multi-year technical product goals and performance indicators; budget development and defense; executive coordination; laboratory oversight; compliance and representation in multiagency initiative and requirements; interagency governance oversight for national SCADA policy, programmatic planning, and budgeting of the SCADA systems life-cycle management program ($5M million annually); as well as overseeing a workforce of 40 scientists, engineers, technicians, IT Specialists, and administrative staff. This includes the hardware and software design, quality assurance, support and maintenance, upgrades and patches, cyber security accreditation, and life-cycle management of OT and IT infrastructure for over 30 isolated systems (including a comprehensive development laboratory). This is achieved through ongoing research of new technology that is then applied to an enterprise architecture approach which is modularized and reusable for each application.Want to know more?
