Main duties and responsibilities: • File and examine incoming take charge, take back and information requests; this includes the verification of the applicants’ fingerprints and current status of their application for international protection • Schedule and manage transfers of applicants (including when vulnerable persons are involved), acting as a liaison with the relevant MS, the Ministry's Territorial Offices, Police Headquarters and other offices involved • Identify cases of vulnerable applicants (unaccompanied minors, families, applicants with health problems) and address them in line with national reception measures • Draft legal, administrative and technical documents and support the litigation sector• Maintain relations with case officers from other Dublin Units and with EASO case workers at the Italian Dublin Unit and liaise with national stakeholders and public administrations (Territorial Offices, Police Headquarters etc.) • Work in synergy with other experts to manage open cases and provide legal support in the most complex scenarios • Register all files on DubliNET (the electronic network of transmission channels between the national authorities dealing with asylum applications) and keep them constantly up to date • Periodically report on activities, results, challenges and critical issues and contribute to the planning and organisation of the Incoming sector’s activities• Thoroughly study the Dublin Regulation and procedure, the Common European Asylum System and the international, European and national legal framework on asylum, including constant updates on case law Show less
