MAJOR PROJECTSTUNNELGeotechnical Field Engineer: Upper Rouge Tunnel Project, Detroit, Michigan (2005-2007)• Actively involved in the geotechnical investigation for the 32 feet diameter, 7-mile tunnel. • Involved 4,400 feet of soil drilling, 8,500 feet of rock coring, 240 packer tests and 24 piezometers - Phase I. • The Phase II involved; 8,585 feet of vertical or inclined (25 deg from vertical) drilling, 2 horizontal borings (3,450 feet total length) at a vertical depth of about 165 feet below the ground • Assisted in preparing Geotechnical Data Report (GDR), Geotechnical Interpretive Report (GIR) and Geotechnical Baseline Report (GBR). SLOPE STABILITYGeotechnical Field Engineer: Conner Creek CSO Basin, Detroit Michigan (2002-2004). Involved slope stability monitoring and control.• Actively involved in the construction phase of the basin.• Performed geotechnical instrumentation monitoring.• Monitored 33 inclinometers for excavation stability and collected data from Ground Monitoring Points (GMP) on the basin. • Prepared geotechnical instrumentation daily reports. • Supervised inclinometer installation and took baseline readings.• Analyzed the data, alerted the contractor and owner’s representative of excessive movements, if any. Geotechnical Field Engineer: Wadhams Road Bridge over Black River, St. Clair County, Michigan (2006–2011). Solution was to eliminate continuous slope instability adjacent to the bridge's abutment with a replacement anchor - pier foundation system.• Actively involved in the field geotechnical investigation for the replacement bridge.• Involved 700 feet of soil drilling and well installation. • Actively involved during field performance test for bridge pier anchor installation and recorded strain and final lock off loads during the construction phase. Project Manager

      • Preparation of Geotechnical Engineering reports for Roads, Storm and Sanitary Sewer for pre design phase planning, Greenhouses, Boiler Tanks, SWM Ponds and Industrial/Residential development. • Developed analysis tools and evaluated individual piles and pile groups for foundation design using friction piles and augmenting bearing capacity deficiencies for piles and pile groups with individual pile cap bearing resistance.. Develop pre construction testing and installation plan for helical piles. Led to a complete design of production foundation structures utilizing array systems of helical piles for multi frame support with emphasis on minimizing adfreeze stresses. Assisted with oversight during installation of test helical piles. • Field operations Q/C Show less
